Reiko Ishiyama

Growing up on the island of Shikoku in Japan, Ishiyama gained an appreciation for artisan craftsmanship. She drew upon the tradition and attention to detail she witnessed there as she embarked upon her own career as an artist—first as a sculptor, then as a self-taught jeweler. Based in New York City for nearly 20 years, Ishiyama creates pieces that showcase her talent as a sculptor, gracefully crafting wearable works of art.
